K-2 Astronomy
Mondays from 3pm-5pm with Mrs. Papp in C102
Step into a cosmic laboratory and start exploring the universe. In our Astronomy class, students will investigate distant planets, shining stars, and familiar constellations while learning how space works. With hands-on activities and experiments, students will think and work like real astronomers as they explore the night sky.
Classes start February 2. NO CLASS on February 16 and May 25.

3rd-5th EMP Environmental Engineering
Thursdays from 3pm-5pm with Mrs. Papp in C102
Get ready to become a water scientist and environmental engineer. Using a hands-on watershed model from the Mojave River Watershed Agency, students will see how water travels and how pollution can end up in our river. We will collect and test water samples from the Mojave River in our Wildlands and from other water sources around the valley. Together, we will discover where pollution comes from and come up with ideas to help keep our river clean and healthy.
Classes start February 5.
